Chilli Joins General Mills In Promoting Box Tops For Education

ATLANTA -- In an effort to raise awareness about healthy kids, smart kids and ways parents and the community can rally together to help local schools receive pertinent materials such as books and computers for children, Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas of TLC has joined forces with General Mills to promote Box Tops for schools.

We caught up with Chilli yesterday, only one month after being featured in our January/February issue of Atlanta Tastemaker Magazine, to chat about "What Chilli Wants": Communities to Collect Box Tops for Education! We asked Chilli why she decided to become a brand ambassador for General Mills and spread the word about collecting box tops. "I don't play about my son's education and I'm very involved about the healthy choices available to him and the students at his school." Chilli boast about being one of the parents at her  son Tron's private school, in which she influenced their decision to replace junk food in vending machines with healthy organic choices.
