National Black Arts Festival holds Art + Fashion event w/ Zac Posen on 3/15

NBAF, presenters of the National Black Arts Festival, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the celebration of the arts of the African Diaspora and Neiman Marcus, premiere retailer of high-end luxury merchandise, are excited to announce Zac Posen as the Guest of Honor for the extraordinary sixth annual charitable event and fashion show on Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Neiman Marcus in Lenox Square from 6 until 9 in the evening.

As one of today’s most talked about and sought-after designers, Posen continues to be a New York Fashion Week and Red Carpet favorite. His collections are found in top retailers all over the world including, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Harvey Nichols, Holt Renfrew and Vakko. “We are simply elated to have Zac Posen attend this year’s event. To have one of the most coveted names in fashion attend our Fine Art + Fashion is exciting to say the least,” shares Su Longman, event Co-Chair.

The Fine Art + Fashion Committee also recently announced that Jasmine Guy will serve as the Mistress of Ceremonies to host one of the most fabulous evenings of fashion that Atlanta has to offer.

The Fine Art + Fashion event will once again be at Neiman Marcus in Lenox Square. Su and Al Longman and Merry and Chris Carlos are the Co-Chairs of the 2012 event that includes a pre-show reception, fashion show, and post-show reception. Art patrons Charlene Crusoe-Ingram and Earnest Ingram, Honorary Co-Chairs, are being recognized for their support of NBAF’s visual arts programming.

Neiman Marcus returns again as the Title Sponsor with ING Americas and The Coca-Cola Company as the 2012 Presenting Sponsor. The annual Fine Art + Fashion event brings together more than 400 of Atlanta’s fashion, business and social notables. The event is one of Atlanta’s most esteemed fundraising benefits and fashion events, which provides support to NBAF’s visual arts programs, related public programs, and marketing support of major exhibitions. Fine Art + Fashion continues to be a sold out event each year.
