ATLANTA -- Another arrest has been made in the death of a man who jumped from his third-story condo trying to escape home intruders.
Police said Jose Greer, 51, died after he jumped from a balcony on December 18, 2015. Authorities said Greer had gone on the balcony after three men kicked in the door to his condo on Oak Street.
Greer fell onto a concrete sidewalk suffering a broken pelvis, broken arms and several other fractures. He died six hours later at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Surveillance video showed an unsuspecting resident allowing one of the suspects in through a back door of the southwest Atlanta condo building.
On Thursday, police said they had arrested 20-year-old Mark Spencer. He's charged with felony murder and is being held at Fulton County Jail.
Police had previously announced the arrest of 20-year-old Lil'che Stafford.
A $40,000 reward has been offered in the case. Several other suspects have been identified, and police anticipate more arrests.
